What is a Lion of Judah Endowment?

Lion of Judah Endowment (“LOJE”) is the endowment component of the national Lion of Judah major gifts program. You can create a LOJE by making a one-time gift of $100,000 or more to the UJA NNJ Endowment Foundation. We will establish an endowment fund in your name to perpetuate your Lion of Judah Annual Campaign gift. In this way, your legacy and generosity will be an integral part of our community, remembered and recognized in perpetuity.

What are the advantages?

Establishing a LOJE today will help perpetuate the mission of UJA Federation for generations to come.

LOJE donors are recognized as members of the Dor L’Dor Society, the Endowment Foundation’s legacy society. Members are invited to UJA NNJ Major Gifts functions and receive a beautiful tzedakah box. Their names are added to our legacy Wall of Honor in the lobby of the UJA NNJ headquarters. Donors who endow $200,000 or more also are honored through the national Star of David Society. read more
